Today is our final family Christmas celebration.  Whew!  I'm all partied out!  Thankfully we're not doing the traditional Christmas meal -- looking forward to a Mexican buffet theme this year instead.  I have a couple gifts to wrap yet.

Anyway, Happy New Year!   I'm drinking a bottle of water this morning...too much wine and salty snacks last night---yikes!  I think I'm ok though I barely ate all day so I could indulge.

I was awake for 24 hours before I crashed at 2am and I've been up since 9 and both of my kids are still asleep..they were up until midnight. LOL

ANyway, maybe its time for a movie in bed now that Ive taken my pills and drank water  ;)

Happy New Year Michigan!

We had a quiet evening last night with the in-laws.  Today will be football, cards, and good conversation.  We head back to Michigan tomorrow morning, heard there is snow coming and more snow coming *sigh*.  We hope to get as far as possible on Saturday, normally we could make it all the way if the roads are ok.  We are driving right into the snow, as long as the first leg of the trip throught the hills and country of PA are clear we should at least get into Michigan and hope that we get all the way home, if not we will spend the night somewhere Saturday and finish the trip on Sunday.  Our house/dog sitters are planning on staying until Sunday so we don't have to worry about somebody taking care of the pets.

Happy New Year Everyone.  I had a night of Bingo and games with the kids and family.  We even stayed up until well after midnight.  I am shocked!  I started today by getting all my suppliments in so far!  I am aiming to get Back on Track!

I am cooking dinner today for my kids, parents, brother and SIL.  I need to go start that.

Happy New Year!  After driving all night (well, I was riding...don't sleep well in cars) Wed. night, getting to MI at my inlaws at 5:30AM, sleeping a couple hours, RE-packing our car (we took their van to TN) and getting HOME around 7PM last night, I did not make it to midnight!!  LOL!  Hubby was snoring away on the couch by 9.  Dub was in bed by 8.  I think we finally headed to bed around 10, in our sleep.  I tried to watch TV, but wasn't in bed very long before I was out, too!  So much for the bottle of sparkling white zin I had chilling in the fridge.  Maybe tonight, now that we're well rested.
